Hey, I'm Madli! An intuitive creator, photographer, film maker, story weaver & poetess Creating with intention Hey there! My name is Madli and I am a story weaver, artist and a creative magician (or so I tell myself to make up for never having gotten a letter to Hogwarts). My roots are Estonian, but they are currently planted deep within the Wiradjuri Land (Central-West NSW). I am based in Orange, a beautiful winecountry in the rolling hills, which is where most of my creation happens, though I am always up for travel and adventure! My creativity and unique expression are chanelled through various mediums - film, photography, poetry, visualt art and most recently - podcast. My approach to my craft is highly intuitive, meaning I feel into the energy of whomever I am capturing, with the intention of telling thier Story as authentically as possible. Travelling is kind of my favourite thing! Ever! If you're one with a nomadic soul, we are guaranteed to get on like a house on fire! This is me in Machu Pichu, Peru on my birthday in 2022. Needless to say - it was epic! When I am not creating through photo and video, you will find me travelling, or looking at tickets to go travelling, or dreaming of going travelling. In between those three, you may also find me creating art in other forms - through drawing, writing, playing music, cooking, dancing. You will find me in nature, in the loving arms of our Earth Mother, which is where I feel most at home and grounded. I love hiking and adventures, coffee and real cacao, the balance of a quiet night in, reading, and a night out, dancing, until the sun comes up. I'm an open-minded, light-hearted, passionate spirit who loves a good belly laugh and meaningful conversations, who is devoted to creating beauty and magic in the world in every way I can. Wedding films that tell a Story I have been creating wedding films for the past 3 years, it is my main expression and biggest passion, the one form of creativity that truly lights me up in life! My approach to film making is highly intuitive, I base my filming and editing process around authetnically portraying the energetics of each couple based on their individuality. Some films are more sentimental and slow, some are more fast paced and quirky, but generally I like to try to weave in a bit of all of the above. I have learned from experience that the best wedding films and experiences come out of good connection, syngery and trust. Your photographer and videographer are with you all day and it makes a massive difference for how you experience one of THE BEST DAYS of your life, and the video you end up getting, if you can feel relaxed and just be fully yourself on the day. Working with me At this stage in my life and creative journey, I am choosing to take on limited amount of weddings (around 10-15 per year), which allows me to give my full creativity, time and artistry to each couple. However, I understand that sometimes a home space is a temporary dwelling, it may be poorly lit or you may be in the middle of renovating, which is why my home studio space comes in handy. Newborn shoots with me generally go anywhere from 1.5 - 3 hours between changing and feeding. It is my intention to give you the best possible photos, so if Bub or your other children struggle, I am more than happy to reschedule a new shoot, free of charge. To the ones who get to dance into freedom and reawaken the shewolf within, but especially to the ones in the corners of the world where such liberation can not even be dreamt of. My heart sings for the clipped-winged ones. These women live in my prayers. I set an intention here - may the Shakti Rising Project and all the healing, wisdom and empowerment that comes from its fruits, go like ripples out into these dark corners of the planet and bring waves of healing to those who most need it. We are the ones we have been waiting for - the peace-bringers, the change-makers, the teachers, the lineage healers, the shamans, the witches, the seers, the wise ones.
